Talkology, a first map
Jan 20th
Welcome:)
This is the first released “0.1″ map about Talkology which provides a visual representation of every field this new science covers.
We will be updating this model time and again as more feedback, data and new evidence are collected.
The Map has two main areas:
- Speakers
- Audience
In the speaker’s section are the fields related to the speaker and the art of talking (oratory, rhetoric, content,..).
In the audience section are the fields related to the audience and everything related to it such as location, geography, when speeches are made, etc …
Below these two sections you will find the research that will be conducted by our research team in 2010.
Feedback, ideas, suggestions?

What really inspires and motivates people to change?
What is the formula behind doing Talks that matter?
What are the common patterns among the most inspiring and socially changing talks?
We will discover these areas together.
The Talkologist is the first website dedicated to study Talkology.
Talkology is a new research project studying Talks that creates and inspire change.
Here you will find daily links related to the talkology field, interviews with inspiring speakers, as well as studies
and research useful to everyone interested in doing talks that matter.
Feel free to contribute with comments, ideas and suggestions.
